The Sporting Group at the AKC Gallery

These dogs are active, alert, and well-rounded — we wish we knew more people like them. Members of the Group include Pointers, Retrievers, Setters and Spaniels.

They are remarkable for their instincts in water and woods. Many dogs in this group still actively participate in hunting and field activities.

Sporting dogs require regular, invigorating exercise. So if you are more of a coach potato than an athlete, this may not be the dog for you. Whether you own one or not, the AKC Collection of sporting art can make any ‘ol room feel like a sporting lodge.
